A Public meeting held Jan. 30th, made quite the statement with over 700 people in attendance. Support for the proposed Civic Centre proved overwhelming.

To do in 60 days what MP Mark Eyking and MLA Cecil Clarke stated very clearly must be done.

  • Have 1.5M guaranteed by the municipality or a financial institution
  • Show the Canada Nova Scotia Infrastructure Secretariat we can build an operational building for 6M.
  • Identify future funding programs with the help of our Federal, Provincial and Municipal Politicians to finish the 9M project.
  • Time: we would appreciate your support as soon as possible as March 15th would give us two weeks to finalize a deal to guarantee the pledges.
